Your donations house those without a home
The YWCA North Central Washington depends on a generous community to support our essential work to house homeless and low-income women and families and get them back on their feet to a safe and stable life. Many of our clients are victims of domestic violence, sometimes fleeing for their lives with little of their belongings. Sometimes we are supporting a woman who found herself in the difficult situation of homelessness through losing a job, a health crisis or other life circumstance. Many women have children in their care and they are also affected deeply by the effects of homelessness.
The generous support of individuals, businesses, foundations, and others are what keep our housing, job training, case management services, and advocacy efforts coming to those in need 365 days a year. Consider putting your dollars to work in these tangible ways:
$25 Provides a complete outfit of clothing for a woman in crisis or jobseeker
$50 Houses one mom and child for three nights
$100 Houses a mom and family for five nights
$250 Provides individual job training for one woman rebuilding her life
$250 Also provides one full month of case management services – weekly 1:1 coaching meetings with women in crisis to help them with resources, goal-setting and more
$500 Houses one mom and child in transitional housing for a month
We can also work with you to include the YWCA in your estate plans. The legacy you leave can make a positive impact for generations to come. Contact Development Director Sherry Dawley at firstname.lastname@example.org or 509-662-3531, ext 121, to discuss.
