Your donations house those without a home
The YWCA North Central Washington depends on a generous community to support our essential work to house homeless and low-income women and families and get them back on their feet to a safe and stable life. Many of our clients are victims of domestic violence, sometimes fleeing for their lives with little of their belongings. Sometimes we are supporting a woman who found herself in the difficult situation of homelessness through losing a job, a health crisis or other life circumstance. Many women have children in their care and they are also affected deeply by the effects of homelessness.
The generous support of individuals, businesses, foundations, and others are what keep our housing, job training, case management services, and advocacy efforts coming to those in need 365 days a year. Consider putting your dollars to work in these tangible ways:
$25 Gives clothing essentials so those who need it
$50 Provides four nights of emergency shelter for a single woman
$100 Helps replenish food supplies in our pantry for shelter clients
$250 Gives 15 nights of shelter to a mother and a child
$500 Gives a full month of housing with food, clothing, and job training for a mom with kids
$1000 Supports a homeless individual with up to 6 months of case management services: personalized one-on-one coaching, and assistance to remove barriers, set goals, and achieve housing stability.
We can also work with you to include the YWCA in your estate plans. The legacy you leave can make a positive impact for generations to come. Contact Development Director Sherry Dawley at email@example.com or 509-662-3531, ext 121, to discuss.
