YWCA NCW offers both YWCA residents and community members a comprehensive job training program through our YWCA Thrift Store.
The YWCA Thrift Store provides beneficial hands-on job training to residents and community members giving them the necessary skills, experience, and education they need to go on to other employment opportunities. The program is designed to help under-experienced and unemployed individuals gain training in a retail environment handling sales transactions, maintaining inventory, unloading freight inventory, basic visual merchandising, and developing quality customer service skills.
YWCA NCW believes Job Training is a key element necessary to providing individuals the tools they need in order to stabilize themselves and work towards self-sustaining employment and permanent housing. Through our program, participants learn a variety of essential skills for successfully obtaining and maintaining employment. For more information on our job training program, please email info@ywcancw.org.

The YWCA Thrift Store is made possible by your donations. All items sold in the store have been donated by generous members of the North Central Washington community, including both private and business donations. We appreciate your continued support of the individuals helped through the store program. When you shop at the store, you directly support our programs and services. Items can be dropped off directly at the YWCA Thrift Store Warehouse, Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00am-6:00pm at 231 N Wenatchee Avenue.
