Emogene’s Emergency Shelter

Clients focus on securing permanent housing while stabilizing their family unit and leveraging resources. Case management services are required, and access is offered to our job training and economic empowerment programs.
New Bridges Transitional Shelter
The transitional shelter program is part of our comprehensive continuum of housing services and offers women and children a safe place to stay while putting residents on a path to permanent housing. This program is designed to provide up to 1 year of safe housing, and offers case management services as well as access to our job training and economic empowerment programs.
Permanent Supportive Housing
This program is comprised of multiple apartment units located adjacent to our administrative offices. Residents in this program may be men or women with or without children. Residents sign a lease and pay a subsidized rental rate for these units and must comply with certain program requirements. Residents also have access to optional case management services, outside referrals, job training and economic empowerment programs.
